The Cog Railway to Pike's Peak

Hello! Just a few more photos prior to the holidays of some family fun we had two weeks ago. We took the Cog Railway up Pike's Peak. Eventhough we could not go to the summit as the winds were a bit too strong, the views from 13000ft were amazing. We were so far up we passed the treeline. The boys enjoyed the ride as did mommy and daddy. Here are some of our photos!!

AHHH, fond memories of Pike's Peak. That's where we really decided to adopt--which lead us to Julia. I was just looking at the pictures of that trip the other day. Nell, your hair looks different--did you get bangs? It looks really nice. The boys look wonderful and you all look so happy!

I was just looking back at our blog and saw your comment. I have not looked at it for a couple months. Our transition is going well. We have more good days than bad and we are still able to laugh so I guess we are lucky! Our son Marat is also from Kulenshek. I will have some spare time on my hands in the near future so I should be updating the blog.
Best wishes for the Holidays,
The McMaster's
